The home harmonizes with its surroundings, Like a ship at the water's edge early as it contrasts with other traditional buildings in the area, she explains. A flat roof ensures the neighbors good access to the sun, and the somewhat covered terraces protect against rain and wind.

With nature and views all around edges, and with a rich wildlife in the garden, regret not the couple on the choice of location. - Both red foxes and deer trudge close to the house wall outside the window here. The view of the sea hits you as you enter the main floor and goes towards the open living room and the kitchen.

Large glass surfaces let the light in. - Here we get the feeling of being out on a ship's bridge with a steady course out the fjord.

After looking through various architecture books and magazines, the owners came across some of architect Katrina Urbanik's projects. - Then we thought we had to contact her, says Lars Erik, who was looking for a brave architect with a modern style and expertise within concrete, glass and steel. Together with Urbanik, the couple have created the unique porotherm home.
