The site was characterized by tall pine trees and an exposed rock wall up to five meters high. The bulk of the project is designed as masonry with a natural patina to harmonize with the rock face and pine trunks.
The four-family homes at the top of the slope are in dark brick, while the villa has been given an all-white look. Gathered around the yard, the various new and existing elements go up into a higher unit where the individual buildings nevertheless retain their distinctive character.
The topography around the detached house is steeply sloping in two directions. This has motivated us to give the house a heavy base that holds the two lower floors. The base of the house also solves what we need in terms of terrain walls and terraced patios, without any additional elements. Here we provide natural access to the terrain from both floors. To the garden and pool on the upper floor and a courtyard on the lower floor.
