Villa Majewski

Summary

The home is inspired by the neighboring house's footprint and volume structure. The volumetry takes up differences in height and creates outdoor spaces on different levels. Projections help to break down the scale, while at the same time opening up the volume to the south - towards sun and views

A compact, rectangular house is renovated on an existing villa. The volume has a gabled roof to ensure the view to the nature. The quite flat terrain allows just two floors including a basement floor. The first floor has a dining room as a center, encircled by other living rooms, and a terrace. Two outdoor spaces are subtractions of the volume, ensuring green  spaces, simultaneously the expression remains compact. The facades concrete base. A beige tone in the bricks complement the cladding and ensures a coherent exterior expression, and underlines the compact volume.
