The detached house in Kniveåsen Terrasse 31a stands out by fitting into the terrain. The plot is very steep with a great view. The house is forgiving and modest towards the street, and closes little to the view. The building's design language with horizontal white bands has been used to create good terraces and a play corner with afternoon sun. By adapting the architecture to the plot and not the other way around, infills and setbacks against the future residential area below have been avoided. The house is thus an example for other house builders with steep plots to follow. With site-appropriate architecture, you can get a lot of living quality back, here in the form of three floors with spectacular views and good ceiling height.
